Why we built Phoenix Publishing around your rights

Most authors don't lose control of their books in one big decision. They lose it in the fine print: a contract that takes a share of every sale, files that live on someone else's account, a sales report you have to ask for.

Phoenix Publishing was built to work the other way round.

You choose the help you need

Editing, typesetting, cover design, e-book formatting, audiobook production, and guidance are each offered on their own. You pick the services your book needs and skip the ones it doesn't. There is no package to buy into.

Your book stays in your accounts

Your book is published under your own accounts. The files we produce are yours to keep, so you never depend on anyone else for reports or payments.

We take no royalties

We are paid for the work we do on your book, once. What your book earns after that is yours.

What this blog is for

We'll use this space for practical notes on the publishing process: what each stage of editing is for, how to brief a cover designer, what to check before you upload a file. If there's a question you'd like answered here, send it to us.

Keep writing.
